To our beautiful girl Raven, we still remember the day when we got that unexpected call from Guy Spagnolo saying, “I think I may have a puppy you will like” and then you arrived.
We were totally and absolutely smitten with you. You changed our life forever!!
Once you were retired from showing and being a brood mum (which was a good few years ago), our bond grew even stronger than I thought it ever could. In the house you were my constant loyal companion… wherever I was, so were you! Whether you drooling in the kitchen whilst I was cooking, snoozing as I hung out the washing or supervising me when I was working in the garden, you were always there by my side as my loyal companion and not to mention, many times my confident, this I will truly miss!!
We will always treasure the memories you have given us as our foundation female. Your legacy lives on through your amazing children, grandchildren and now great grand children. We thank you for the wonderful memories and show dogs you have given us over the years… Producing us in your very first litter, the awesome foursome – Cabbie, Maple, Topsy, Charlie. Then later on our beautiful Candy and ever wagging Dee Dee. All who are now Australian Champions and / or Best In Show Speciality winners or Runner Up In Show Speciality winners. For this we will be forever grateful to you.
We will truly miss you our funny bear. You who always loved a good tummy rub and had a big smile on your face whenever getting one. It was the hardest decision to let you go, but the best decision for you knowing the pain you were in. You now have your angel wings, go rest in peace our sweet girl and be re-united with your mate Guinness as you cross over that rainbow bridge.
